BCG frames the split plainly: technology is roughly 20% of the outcome in a successful AI implementation. People and process account for the other 80%. Most projects fund the 20% and leave the 80% to chance.

The EU AI Act's AI literacy obligation under Article 4 has applied since 2 February 2025. The next milestone is 2 December 2026, covering transparency for AI-generated content. If your organisation uses AI in operations, obligations may already be in play.
