About
Before I built AI tools for operations, I ran operations.
12 years in Tier-1 automotive. A €70M die-cast portfolio. Every engagement still delivered personally.

Before you bring in any consultant, ask one question.
Have they ever actually run anything?
Not managed a project from a distance. Not advised on a process from a slide deck. Actually run it, with KPI accountability, supplier pressure, quality audits, and a workforce that has to be brought along on every change.
If the answer is no, the recommendations will be technically correct and operationally incomplete. Someone who has never run a manufacturing operation can tell you what the technology does. They cannot tell you what it will cost your organisation to change how it actually works.
My answer is yes.
12 years in the middle of the problems I now solve.
I spent 12 years in a global senior strategic purchasing role at a world-leading Tier-1 automotive safety company. My responsibility was the die cast supply category across Europe: aluminum and zinc components, a portfolio of over €70 million annually, and supplier relationships spanning every major industrial region.
That meant managing supplier onboarding, parts planning, and phase-out. Negotiating raw material contracts at or below market. Running cost reduction programs that delivered record double-digit commercial results. And handling all of it alongside quality crises, task-force escalations, and cross-functional coordination across purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, and IT.
The work was not abstract:
- VAVE and VSM applied to real cost reduction programs
- 8D problem solving and D/FMEA on live quality issues with supplier and OEM escalations
- PPAP management across a complex, multi-tier supply base
- Q-level supplier audits qualification processes, and corrective action follow-through
- ERP management across more than 30,000 active items, multiple plants, and global markets
- GHG and carbon footprint assessment as part of sustainability and compliance reporting
When I work with a manufacturer or a die casting operation today, I am not learning the context on your time. I arrive with it.
Why I built this.
The shift from operations to AI was not a career change. It was a decision about where I could have the most impact.
I got tired of watching businesses struggle with problems I could see solutions for. The same inefficiencies I had managed manually for years were beginning to yield to automation. Supplier scorecards built in spreadsheets. Quality incident write-ups drafted from scratch every time. Shift handovers that depended on one person's memory. All of it solvable.
But most of the AI being deployed was not surviving contact with real operations. It was being implemented by people who understood the technology but not the environment it was landing in. The workforce was not being prepared. The workflows were not being redesigned. And the organisations buying AI were discovering, usually around month three, that the technology was running but nothing had actually changed.
AI Fluent exists to close that gap. Not just to automate the process, but to build the operational readiness that makes the automation last.
How the capability stacked up.
The 12 years in automotive were followed by a deliberate sequence. Not pivots. Each one built on what came before.
E-commerce and commercial operations
Co-founded an online shop selling personal-use and hospital-grade medical devices. Running a commercial operation in a regulated market added a different layer: pricing, fulfillment, customer trust, and the difference between a product that converts and one that does not.
Web design and client delivery
Founded a web design company, delivering digital projects across different industries. This built the foundation in creative execution, client communication, and the discipline of delivering a finished product on someone else's timeline.
Software and mobile application development
Led mobile and web application projects for international clients, primarily in the United States, working across Android, web, and UI design. 18 months of building real products for paying clients under commercial expectations sharpened both the technical capability and the standard I hold delivery to.
AI implementation specialization
The final step: 18 months focused entirely on AI. Automation workflows, large language models, AI agents, and the practical deployment patterns that actually make it into production, not just into a proof of concept.
AI Fluent is the result of all of it: operations depth, business experience, technical capability, and AI specialization, put together in a way that most consultancies cannot replicate.
What this means for an engagement, practically.
Clients work directly with me across every engagement. There is no handoff after the scoping conversation.
- Faster diagnosis
- No time spent explaining operational basics. I arrive with context. The discovery process focuses on specifics: your systems, your team, your constraints, not on educating the consultant about your industry.
- Solutions built around real workflows
- Every automation is designed around the way your operations actually run, not around generic templates adapted to fit. This reduces implementation friction and means the solution gets used, not worked around.
- Training that works on the floor
- When training is part of the engagement, I teach using the KPIs, the terminology, and the daily realities of manufacturing and industrial roles. A purchasing team learns by working through RFQ scenarios. A quality function learns through 8D and audit preparation examples. Not generic AI exercises with toy data.
- Honest ROI projection
- I separate what can be measured directly and conservatively from what is genuinely possible but harder to predict. You know before the engagement starts what the realistic financial case looks like, benchmarked against documented industry outcomes, not internal estimates.
The standard implementation runs about 12 weeks from kickoff. One quarter with a buffer for scope changes. Enough time to deliver real results without leaving anything half-finished.
